At Spa Diva, we offer our guests a relaxing experience that is both calming and rejuvenating. One of the key elements to good health is a reduction in stress. To help you feel more at ease and avoid any worry about the spa experience, we have answered the most frequently asked questions relating to spa etiquette.

  • Is it customary to tip?

    In appreciation of the staff for outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion either directly to your therapist or alternatively, you may leave it at the reception desk upon leaving the spa. Please do not feel obligated to tip.
  • What if I am running late?

    Please advise us as soon as you know that you will be delayed. We will try to postpone your appointment within the same day to accommodate you. If we are unable to reschedule your treatment, your therapist will provide the remaining portion of your service upon your arrival. In being punctual, you will not lose precious moments of your treatment.
  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Should you need to cancel your appointment, we request a 24 – hour notice to allow us to reschedule your therapist. Spa packages involve various therapists and require a 48 – hour notice for a date change or cancellation. Group reservations may not be cancelled. A cost equal to the full price of the service will be incurred by those who miss appointments and fail to cancel or reschedule within the policy. Please note that you will be required to provide a credit card number to secure a booking.
  • Can I use my cellular phone in the Spa ?

    We welcome the use of smart phones, tablets and other electronice devices but ask that phones not to be used and ringers be turned off.
  • What if I do not feel comfortable?

    If, at any time you are not physically at ease with the temperature, pressure or technique being used, please advise your therapist promptly. Your absolute comfort is our primary concern, your therapist will not be offended and will only appreciate the ability to serve you better. As well, please do not feel obligated to make conversation with your therapist. However, we ask you not to hesitate to voice any of your special needs or preferences.
  • What if I have a health concern?

    Any concerns relating to pregnancy, impaired mobility, allergies, recent surgeries or medical conditions, should be first discussed with your physician. Shaving is not recommended before any treatment, including exfoliation. Please discuss any concerns you may have with one of our trained receptionists prior to your visit.
  • Can I request a male or female therapist?

    Certainly. If you have a preference, please mention it when booking your appointment.
  • Do I remove all my clothes?

    You can wear a swimsuit or leotard under your robe if you wish. However, you will be missing out on some of the most important aspects of massage therapy: the human touch. Our therapists respect your privacy and want you to feel at ease. They are trained in special draping techniques that reveal only the part of the body they are working on. Our cotton bathrobes, slippers and towels are laundered professionally.
  • How do I get ready?

    We welcome you to your cabana with personal keycard access as your private dressing room while visiting us. It is complete with shower, sink, complimentary toiletries and a secure safe for your valuables. Slip on our soft cotton bathrobe and step into the delightful harmony of Spa Diva.
  • How do I book an appointment?

    A Spa Diva agent will gladly help you plan your spa experience. You may come in, or call us at (514) 985-9859. We recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible. Some services are often in high demand.
  • How early should I arrive?

    We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. A leisurely 30 minutes will give you more time to settle in, change and get into a spa frame of mind. To ensure that Spa Diva clients receive prompt care without delays, treatments begin and end on schedule.
